Warranty Coverage
Grizzly Lighting Systems warrants its LED luminaires/fixtures against defects in material, workmanship, or performance under normal use for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original installation and original end customer.
If a defect arises during the warranty period, Grizzly Lighting Systems will provide a free replacement, shipped as quickly as possible. We will require the original Grizzly Lighting Sales Order number and proof of purchase to process the claim. We may request a photo but will not delay your claim as a result.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by:
- Improper installation or handling, or installation not in accordance with local laws.
- Modification or unauthorized repair of the fixture.
- Exposure to environments beyond the fixture’s rated specifications.
- Fixtures/Luminaires that have been re-installed in a different location or sold to a new owner as part of a property sale, beyond their original installation and original end customer.
- Acts of nature or external events such as power surges over the fixture’s rating.
- Other related expenses not originally paid to Grizzly.
Replacement Process
- Replacement fixtures will be shipped promptly upon acceptance of a warranty claim.
- If necessary, Grizzly Lighting Systems reserves the right to require returns of the defective fixture(s) for R&D purposes but will not delay your claim as a result.
- If a return is required, Grizzly Lighting will cover shipping fees.
- If an identical product is no longer available, Grizzly's maximum liability will be a purchase price credit or replacement with functionally similar product if available.
Warranty Disclaimer
We may require the return of the fixtures/luminaires, or evidence of the unit being rendered inoperable. If a return is required, Grizzly Lighting will cover shipping.
This warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product. Grizzly Lighting Systems shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damage arising from the use or misuse of its products.
Grizzly reserves the right to limit claims pending receipt of failed product, in cases where warranty claim rate has exceeded 5% of customer's annual purchases.
Grizzly reserves the right to limit or refuse warranty claims if customer’s account contains overdue charges, unpaid invoices beyond payment terms, or outstanding requests for failed product returns as described above.
