Grizzly Lighting Systems TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

By using this website or purchasing from 14505310 Canada Inc. DBA Grizzly Lighting Systems (hereafter “Grizzly Lighting”) you agree that the following terms and conditions apply and supersede any other terms and conditions including but not limited to any that may accompany your purchase order documents or purchasing communications, unless a signed contract exists between you and Grizzly Lighting.

  1. Quotes and Price Lists
    • Quotes are valid for the sooner of: (1) the expiry date indicated or (2) 30 days from the quote date. Re-quoting may be required at Grizzly Lighting’s discretion once the quote has expired.
    • Currency movements of 5 percentage points or more between CAD and USD after the publication date may invalidate all published prices and quotes at Grizzly Lighting’s discretion, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  2. Shipping
    • Regular ground shipping is free for orders over $2,000 within the lower provinces of Canada.
    • For orders under $1,999.99, regular ground shipping will be invoiced at 10% of the subtotal.
    • Express shipping is available on a quoted basis and is payable by the customer.
    • To claim transport damage:
      • All product packaging must be inspected at the time of receipt of shipment.
      • Damage must be noted on the carrier’s paperwork before the carrier departs the customer’s location.
    • Hidden damage not detectable before unpacking the product must be thoroughly documented and reported in writing to Grizzly Lighting before installation or use of the product.
  3. Credit
    • First order for all new customers is Prepaid.
    • 30-day terms for subsequent order are available on approved credit.
    • Accepted payment methods include:
      • Credit card
      • Cheques or drafts from Canadian banks
      • E-transfer to frontoffice@grizzlylighting.ca
    • Credit card orders over $5,000 will incur a 2.9% processing fee.
    • Payments received more than 30 days after the customer’s receipt of goods will incur interest charges of 19% per year, compounded monthly and calculated in minimum one-month increments.

  5. Returns and Changes
    • All non-warranty returns:
      • Will incur a 20% restocking charge.
      • Must be received by Grizzly Lighting in new, resalable condition.
      • Full amount of original invoice becomes immediately due if authorized returns are not shipped within 5 business days of return authorization. 
    • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and must be accompanied by a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) issued by Grizzly Lighting prior to shipping the return.
    • Order changes requested more than 24 hours after order confirmation may be handled as returns and incur restocking charges, at Grizzly Lighting’s discretion. This includes changes to quantities, options, configurations, or accessories.
  6. Lead Times
    • Due to rapid inventory and technology changes in the industry, all quoted lead times are subject to prior sale.
    • All quoted lead times refer to shipment dates. Grizzly Lighting is not responsible for transit times unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
